Toll-free hot line for cancer patients or patient advocacy organizations to obtain referrals for local counseling and support services throughout the U.S. The referral program aims to connect patients to psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers skilled in the management of cancer-related distress.


Association of Cancer Online Resources

Provides access to mailing lists that provide support, information, and community to everyone affected by cancer and related disorders. Develops and hosts state of-the-art, internet-based knowledge systems that allow the public to find and use credible information relevant to their illness.

Cancer Care

One to one counseling, medical care information and telephone support groups; Spanish speaking available. Also offers financial help.

Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation

Provides groups, parent-to-parent counseling, practical and emotional support. Also offers meal passes and grocery certificates (limited supply). Spanish speaking available

Childhood Cancer Guides

Provides clear explanations of the various types of childhood cancer and treatments, emotional support for every member of the family, and access to helpful resources.
